We had a small issue with the price adjustment and room, but the problem was resolved wonderfully! The service was excellent.

The spot is spot on – right in the middle of everything. But the room? Not so much. It was a nightmare with kids running around for hours, and the room itself was just awful.

The staff were top‑notch, super friendly and helpful. The place sits in the heart of the city, surrounded by food stalls and shops, and you feel safe even after dark. I walked 25 minutes to the top of Morro de Arica from the hostel, and nights were quiet enough to sleep. The downside? The private bathroom room I used had a window that wouldn’t open, rusty curtain bars, and a loose toilet fixture – still worked, but not ideal.

I was traveling solo and felt totally safe and relaxed. The place was spotless – room, sheets, bed, pillows, and the shared bathroom was immaculate. The receptionists were great, too.
