“Worst experience so far in 6 months of travelling through Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia”

Nothing we didn’t stay they booked out our rooms to other people and they lied about it all. Terrible rude staff member at reception who lied. They moved us to their other hotel without any notice or questions just thought as they had booked our rooms to someone else they could move us! They thought we would just accept it. even though we had our confirmation of booking 6 months prior and we called in personally 3 months prior and all was confirmed again then! Hotel they tried to put us in wasn’t finished - electric cables exposed, windows not put in areas borded up and they expected my 82 year old mother to climb a steep high staircase. At least the outlook did help arrange alternative accommodation with other accommodation. The woman in Little outlook has no customer experience and lies

“Mi aspettavo una struttura più curata.”

The breakfast isn’t bad but must be booked the night before from a breakfast menu, including arrival time, even though the service doesn’t respect the indicated time; the breakfast area is the reception with an 8‑person table and a 4‑person table, or you can sit outside, but in winter the temperature can be 14/16 °C; the pool is unusable—we saw a mouse swimming in it; the property is neglected, towels are bleach‑stained, it’s far from the center, 30 minutes walking distance, not walkable at night; taxis cost $10; a broken umbrella at the pool gave the impression of a sloppy facility.

I am unable to comment on the Little Outlook room, as upon arrival at reception, despite booking 11 months in advance - a quaint ground level thatched roof room, located in a green leafy garden, I was advised I was to be housed in the ‘sister hotel’ The Outlook located next door. The Outlook is a 5 story concrete box, two 3rd built, with rooms best described as upmarket hostel. I lugged my luggage up 4 flights of stairs, as there is no lift (do not book if you have a disability or the endurance), and was greeted by a room with holes in the walls, wires hanging out, no towels, no water in the fridge, no air conditioning, no coffee facilities, cobwebs, and a bathroom mirror that requires you to stand on the toilet to use. Not the list of facilities provided in the booking I made. Without a phone in the room to call reception and request towels, water & coffee - I descended the stairs to reception to request the items as well the guest access to the Wifi, all eventually arrived in my room. Unfortunately due to lack of wifi boosters in the building the wifi was near useless, I did however have a functioning very noisy pedestal fan to circulate warm air around the room. Any rate, I will end here, just don’t book, there are plenty of better similar priced options available

“Very friendly staff - be alert not being switched to another hotel!!”

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and everything they organized (Sunset cruise, helicopter flight, transfers, …) worked great; however, we were not at Little Outlook but at the adjacent half‑finished new building; although we had booked and paid for August in October, we weren’t the only guests who experienced this; there was a hole in the wall leading outside in the room, and the toilet/bath had no lockable door; the room door was glass (satin‑frosted, thus opaque), through which bright light penetrated all night, negatively affecting sleep; additionally, you could hear almost every noise from the hallway.

They gave us a free upgrade from two rooms to a double with a kitchen, and it worked perfectly for us.
