“Heerlijk verblijf”
A lovely spot that feels like a quiet retreat, especially as Uluwatu gets busier. The staff are extremely friendly, remember your name and even your order, and the restaurant is good enough that you might not need to dine out. The house is cozy and clean, with a good bed and pillows—a true oasis of calm. Their dog Amantes is super sweet and loves attention. We had an outdoor bathroom, which wasn’t a problem, but there’s a hotel next to the houses with a pool; when the staff use the stairs to get to the pool, you can see our bathroom, so it’s a bit intrusive whether you’re on the toilet or showering. Maybe something could be done about that.
