What a special little gem! Absolutely loved everything – close to the village yet so secluded and private in the bush, the bird life was amazing. Thanks Peter and Paula for a wonderful stay.

Such unique accommodation, you feel like you're a world away but are only 5 minutes out of Akaroa! The clawfoot bath and outdoor shower are such a treat looking out to native bush and watching the bellbird and tui drink from the sugar water feeder. The cottage is cosy and homey with everything you need for a restful getaway

The space was cozy and cute, and the extra snacks and food were great, but the price seemed a bit high for what was offered; it’s a lovely place but a bit farther out of town and remote, so depending on what you’re after it could be great, yet the cost felt too high compared to other places I’ve stayed.
