“Friendly staff & locals, we had a lovely stay!”
The rural setting is pleasant and close to shopping, and the Cornish Pasties from the nearby butcher are superb. Free parking just over the road is first‑come, first‑served but always available. A small fridge in the room would have been a big plus, and the free Wi‑Fi connection was a bit unreliable.
The staff were friendly, the place clean and functional, and the pub offered a good beer selection. My room was neat and clean, and parking was easy. However, the upstairs room was over 30 °C and a bit too hot to be comfortable—though, as they say, you can’t control the weather.

The place was cozy and friendly, making us feel welcome right away; the rooms were nice, and they kindly let us bring our Chinese take‑away, providing plates and cutlery. Parking was excellent, and I hope to return.
