I’m thrilled with everything—thanks a ton to Larysa, the front‑desk lady, who gave us a fully equipped flat. We relaxed for 10 days and had no regrets. The only downside was that it’s on the 5th floor, which is tough for someone with mobility issues, but otherwise everything was great.

“Brutta esperienza”

I fled immediately. The entrance was a narrow hallway with a laundry line and trash bags, and there was a lady who didn’t speak a word of English. Luckily there was Wi‑Fi, so I didn’t have to book another hotel and I left on foot. Thanks to a Pakistani guy who acted as a Russian‑speaking intermediary, he returned my 50 euros and called a taxi. That’s not an hotel.

When we drove into Bishkek late at night, exhausted after a long trip, we called the staff and they said there was no room even though we had booked, and we still had half an hour before check‑in. They then told us we could check in an hour later and that the price was slightly higher than listed on Booking. We were tired and wanted to sleep, so we agreed and said we’d call back. We drove to the location, but the address was wrong; we ended up in a courtyard where residents yelled at us for driving through the gates without permission. While there we called the staff again, but they didn’t pick up or return the call. In the end we were left in the car. If you’re thinking of staying overnight at this place, think carefully before booking. I’m writing what actually happened.
