We had a wonderful stay at the Madri Retreat. It was very clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. When we accidentally turned off our AC in the middle of the night and thought it was broken, they immediately came to sort it out for us. They are happy to book taxis or TukTuks for you too. Breakfasts were delicious with a choice of Indian breakfast or continental. The small courtyard pool was a lovely place to sit by and take a dip in. The rooftop Skyfall restaurant at their sister hotel (about 1 minutes walk away) was also excellent with superb views across the city. Lovely at night. There wasn't anything I didn't like

The place was beautiful, modern, clean, with meticulous detail and a charming vibe that felt like an intimate getaway; the bed was comfortable, the heat solutions were effective, the staff were lovely, the pool and terrace were delightful, and the bathroom in my room was the best I've seen on any trip to India. The breakfast menu layout felt a bit odd—while I liked the local options, it didn’t feel complete, and a mix‑and‑match selection would have been better; still, the food tasted great and fresh. The room’s sound insulation could be better, as outside noise was a bit loud.

I stayed in a building that was oddly interesting, the bed was wonderfully comfortable, everything was spotless and well kept, the food was good and the staff were outstanding. I didn’t encounter any problems.

As a solo traveler I felt completely safe and the staff were very helpful.
