When we got there, we liked what we saw, and it was a good stop between Santander and home. Dinner was excellent, as was breakfast the next morning. It’s hard to say more without experiencing it yourself; it’s a place we haven’t really tried before. The owner runs a tight ship but isn’t harsh. Besides the usual guests, there’s a fair number of local men at breakfast who are well known to the owner and are dressed in hunting gear. The location is about 3 km along a dirt track that goes deep into the Campo. It’s a bit like finding an oasis in the desert! You wonder where you’re going, and I would have been happier if I had been driving a large 4×4. The road could be difficult if it rains a lot. There’s a garage with car‑washing facilities on the main road that you might need afterward.

The setting in nature is charming, quiet, and comfortable. Service was good, the facilities very clean, and the owners Manolo and Manoli gave the best treatment. We'll book them again if we return to the area, no doubt. We were two couples and it was perfect. Nothing negative.
