The hotel's provision of towels in the hallway was a nice touch
Although it's not the fanciest place, I found it to be quite affordable

Being right in front of Nakasu River made trips to Tenjin, Canal City and Hakata super convenient, and I appreciated the shared towels in the hallway. However, I couldn’t open the window or raise the curtains, so I missed out on the full night view.

The room was spacious and even though I booked at the last minute it was still available, but there were no staff on duty, many guests struggled with a broken check‑in process, we were four people yet only one towel and one set of amenities were provided, and the room was far too dark.
Two of the four check‑in pads were broken, and because many overseas guests were in line the process took forever, leaving us waiting a long time; calling for help was a nightmare as the phone barely connected, which is exactly why unmanned check‑in can be such a disaster.
The spot was great, though I wouldn’t recommend it to families with small kids because the nightlife around the area gets noisy in the evenings; the price and location look good, it’s cheap if you just need a place to sleep, and the room was smaller than I expected. The air‑conditioning could not be adjusted.
