The bed was comfy, the room was clean, water was free, there was a balcony, and the shower was hot. The only complaint was that they charged us 200 baht for a 6‑minute ride because we had no other option, and the ride was given by a hotel employee. I understand supply and demand, but overcharging guests feels wrong; it felt like a heavy tourist tax and left a sour taste about the accommodation.

The room was a good size, the staff ran the place like a family, the location was great, and the room was quiet and very clean. They offered communal coffee and kettle access, and the staff were friendly enough to let you use any of their bowls, microwave, etc. The main discomfort was that no bed lamp was provided, so you couldn’t have soft lighting at night. One morning the hot water didn’t work, but that was fixed the next day.

The hotel was good and the location perfect, but the water pressure was only 50 % and that was a bit annoying. Warning: the water was turned off to save electricity (I assume) until early morning 8 am, so if you check out before 8 am you get no water for shower or toilet. After a 12‑hour travel I was sticky and stinky all day and felt horrible. The ladies in the hotel were very friendly, but they didn’t care much when I complained about no water and only responded with “okay.” I even mentioned my early check‑out at 8. Overall everyone is friendly and the place is comfortable, but the water problem cannot be ignored—it’s impossible.

The room I booked didn’t have a TV, but that was fine because I don’t usually watch TV anyway; it’s close to restaurants and the beach is just a few minutes away.

The location is good for Similan Island, but the owner’s communication was bad, there were ants everywhere in the room, and the most important issue was that there was no water in the toilet. Unbelievable. I have video. AVOID THIS PLACE.
