“It was a great place other than the smell in the room and on 3rd floor”

I liked the hotel’s location close to everything; I could commute to my clinicals in 10 minutes, and food, stores, and grocery shops were nearby. The staff were very helpful whenever I had questions. I didn’t like the smell on the 3rd floor, and the room smelled like a wet dog or animal pee, with a lot of animal fur on the room and couch.

“Overall it’s a great stay and I’ve stayed there twice now.”

I love that they have a mini kitchen and supplies to cook with, but I’m not a fan of the towel exchange and toilet paper exchange.

I left two nights early, losing two paid nights because, over the five nights I stayed, they never did the cleaning service twice even after I asked.

I liked the price and the location; it’s close enough to the Salt Palace to be convenient but far enough from downtown to avoid its noise. The facilities could be better: after three years, each year brings a maintenance issue—first the elevator broke, then a hallway leak, and this year the door to our room was badly damaged, hard to open before the electric latch timed out, and we often thought it was latched when it wasn’t.
