The motel is 14 minutes from Whittier College and 9 minutes from Rio Hondo Golf Club, with Disneyland 16.4 miles away and Santa Fe Springs Market Place 6 minutes away.

The rate was fair, but I really wish I'd spent an extra $20 on a different motel. The fridge worked well and stayed cold. The décor felt like it was from the 70s, and I found hair in the bathtub. While flipping through channels, I noticed porn on channel 1. I requested a non‑smoking room but received a smoking one with ashtrays. The curtains were stained. Only two pillows were available, and they were terrible. The bed was so uncomfortable that my wife and I were up at 5:00 AM with stiff backs and packed our bags to leave immediately. I would never recommend this place to anyone I know. There was only one large towel in the room. One chair I sat in wobbled and I almost fell through it. There was no extra door lock, no lamps by the bed, and I had to get out of bed to turn off the lights by the door. No microwave, no coffee machine.
