A friendly gentleman guided us, communication was smooth, and the rural setting was lovely for relaxing; the large kitchen and pleasant common rooms were a highlight. The only downside was the cleaning of the shared kitchen area.

Nice location. Nice building. Room tiny. I booked a single room for my 76 year old dad. The window wasn't closing properly so it was gusted. Then where were the bath towels? Also. Why are people getting drunk till 3.30am making noise? No respect for other lodges and nobody there to supervise or keep control of the building or guests. The first night should be refunded. So much money and so little service

We had booked and paid for three nights but left after the first because it was a nightmare. The B&B was nothing like the photos or description: rooms had no private bathroom, shared toilets and showers were in separate floors, and there were constant noises from people entering and leaving at any hour. The beds and furnishings were poor, and breakfast was not offered. The owner was absent, and the person who greeted us didn’t show any ID or confirm that we were booked at this B&B.

The place was clean, but there was a shared bathroom and toilet for many rooms, which I wasn’t aware of. The location felt a bit remote.
