The property is easy to reach: leaving the main road, a few hundred metres of gravel with pebbles leads straight to it. It is incredibly quiet; despite the proximity to a fast‑moving road, you don’t hear a car thanks to the location and vegetation. The room was very spacious (although, due to a change in circumstances, it turned out to be an upgrade from what we had booked, offered by the management on their own initiative) and had a wonderful view. Breakfast was excellent, with a mix of fresh products (varied day to day) and packaged items. The outdoor breakfast area is under a lovely pergola with a very relaxing view. The pool area, surrounded by pine trees, is also nice and perfect for relaxation. We didn’t try the restaurant because it was closed at the end of the summer season. One last positive note on the location: if you have a car, you can visit Matera, Policoro and its archaeological area, the Ionian beaches, and many other places within 30 minutes.
