I liked the overall vibe of the place, but every morning I ran into water issues in my room, probably because the city’s water supply is spotty.

“Good value for money hotel”

The design of the hotel is appealing, the rooms are bright, the beds comfy, everything’s clean, the staff are exceptionally friendly, and breakfast is good. I didn’t find the location very attractive; the neighborhood feels very multicultural with a strong Middle Eastern and African presence and lots of ethnic eateries and markets, and I’d have preferred a more charming, traditionally Hamburg area with character.

The hotel is spotless and the staff are kind, the breakfast is abundant and there’s an interesting automatic pancake machine. The shower could have been stronger.

The hotel looks nice, clean, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was fine, though the prices for breakfast packages are generally too high. The location is a downside: it’s close to the train station, surrounding streets, and the typical clientele, which made walking around there at night uncomfortable. If that doesn’t bother you, it’s very quick to reach all sights, and the subway and bus stop are nearby.

The location near the main station is great, but you’ll also find homeless people and drug activity nearby, so alcohol‑free zones are in place. Breakfast offers everything you’d expect, including a coffee machine and a pancake machine with a Nutella dispenser. The reception and bar staff are friendly 24/7—top! The TV was out for the entire stay, and the helpful staff could only say it was being repaired. Breakfast was pricey.
