The place is super cute, with on‑site laundry and a small gym that made things really convenient. It sits right in the heart of historic Galveston, and we’re definitely planning to come back!

The property was fantastic and the owners were fantastic! A family called ahead to surprise us with champagne and sweets, and the owners went above and beyond to arrange the purchase and leave them in our room with a handwritten note. They answered questions and suggestions quickly. I’ll definitely book here again if I’m ever in Galveston. Everything was perfect.

Checking in was easy. There was no water in the rooms.

We never saw anyone. Our Uber took us down an alley full of homeless people. We struggled to find the hotel and climbed a few stairs with heavy luggage. The lockbox was hard to open. Room 2 had a dirty, smelly rug, and the mattress let you sink in with no support—seemed like it was from the 1950s. We left at 10:30 am the next morning, still not seeing a single hotel employee. I’m not sure how to interpret the generally positive reviews; this is black and white with no gray. Even the Motel 6 we stayed at during spring break would be an improvement. Caveat emptor—or am I missing something? Everything. The neon was a nice touch!

I had a lovely stay at this hotel, but unfortunately, it was disrupted by a fire alarm in the adjacent room that went off from 2 am until I checked out. The hotel's charm and cuteness were a delight, but the constant noise made it difficult for me to get a good night's sleep.
