“A wonderful location with a stunning view”

The courtyard’s sea view is fantastic, and it only takes a few minutes to step down the stairs to the water. In the morning I could have breakfast while looking out over the sea, and in the evening we enjoyed a pleasant walk along the waterfront; a morning swim right after waking up was simply perfect. The room is small but cozy and contains everything you need. The only thing that was missing was a vase of fresh flowers :)

“Schlafmöglichkeit in ener sehr guten Lage”

The location is great – the sea and the Opatija promenade are just a few steps away, and the beach is good. The bus stop is right outside the door, and it takes 3–4 minutes to reach Opatija centre; with the RCC app it’s 30 minutes and €1.30 per person. We booked on short notice for three nights and had no special expectations. The “apartment” shocked us at first, but we stayed. The host tried to park our car for free in the public area and we were lucky to find a suitable spot. I read the reviews and the host’s replies carefully – they’re contentious. Here’s our assessment so future guests can better understand: the “apartment” is not a small apartment in the usual sense, but a room where the bed occupies up to 90 % of the space. At the entrance you can set up a little dining area – the dining space and coziness feel very different. The bathroom is also small, but nice and newly renovated, and it was clean. The terrace offers a good view and seating, though it’s not particularly cozy. A moisture pad lay on the bed – useful for the host, but uncomfortable for us; we had to put bath towels underneath. The room door didn’t inspire trust, there was no soap, so we kept valuables and passports with us. On the second day we had no hot water. The host replied quickly to our message but said we were at fault because we had turned off the heating switch – none of us knew it existed or where it was, and no one told us. The communication was not especially friendly. The proximity to the sea and the view were very important to me; my husband accepted the stay for my sake. We will not return and will not recommend the apartment.

The terrace offers a very beautiful view, and it’s very close to the sea‑parade. The room is a bit small, there is no kitchen, only a minibar and a kettle.

The view is very nice, the courtyard is cozy, the sea is three minutes away, there are several beaches, and many restaurants with very tasty food.
