We booked the penthouse with a wrap‑around terrace, offering a stunning view over the valley, the Mosel, and the vineyards. The location was very quiet. The description said the unit was air‑conditioned, which is true, but it cools via underfloor heating. In my opinion it didn’t work properly; the landlord mentioned an external thermostat, yet the apartment didn’t get noticeably cooler. Note that there are no AC units. Perhaps this is an overly critical complaint, but the rooms aren’t cheap.

“Fijn appartement”

The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean. The fridge was stocked with their own wine bottles for the enthusiast, though you had to pay if you used them. A large balcony offered a lovely view over the Moselle or the vineyards. The leather sofa in the living room was not very comfortable, too deep, and the cushions didn’t help much, they slipped off the smooth upholstery. The beds could have been a bit softer, but otherwise nothing to note.

A proper heated pool made the hot weather very pleasant, and the outdoor area with a gas BBQ and seating was nice; the site is close to vineyards, offering lovely evening walks in a beautiful setting. The wardrobes in two of the three bedrooms are outdated and provide little storage, with only a bottom shelf and no hanging rods.
