The place is gorgeous, right by the beach, sunsets are amazing, and you really feel connected to nature. The only hiccup was that at night we ran out of a fan and it was hard to sleep in the heat, but that was a one‑time glitch – they usually have reliable power.

The fan was great and the view was nice, but the price was outrageous compared to luxury hotels nearby. Service was terrible – staff didn't follow requests, food that needed ordering was delayed, and we were told the dinner wouldn't arrive at 8 pm. We rented a boat that cost more than anywhere else and they didn't even mention water. I had to get ice and glasses myself because the staff only came to collect payment.

Isla Fuerte is a beautiful island and the accommodation is well‑located. The volunteers were trying their best. But the room descriptions were wrong – we were promised a sea view that wasn't there, and the “seating area” was actually in the kitchen, no promised garden furniture. The terrace, which looks nice, is unusable after noon because it's in full sun (maybe a design flaw). Breakfast was good but not a la carte as promised.

The place is beautiful and they suggest plenty of activities and great food, especially from “el chino” who is awesome. Only downside is it’s a bit far from the beach.
