This guesthouse is a courtyard property with four rooms, run by the owner and two staff members. It sits near Paschimarama Temple, east of Tissa. I stayed for two days. After booking, the owner reached out to coordinate my arrival. I got off at the wrong bus stop because I was unfamiliar with the area, but he drove over to pick me up. The service here is fantastic. The hostess and the young man who prepares meals are gentle and thoughtful, though my limited English made smooth conversation difficult. When we arrived, the owner showed us spotted deer in the backyard, and we visited a nearby lake to watch mugger crocodiles and birds. The rooms are very clean and the surroundings are beautiful.
