The spot was decent and the $100 nightly rate felt fair, plus the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were surprisingly good. But the hotel felt cramped, with no closets, the smallest bathroom and tub I've seen, and a bed that was uncomfortably lumpy—probably a straw pillow. They added a thousand yen for a slightly late checkout, which was a bit of a shock, and the morning construction with jackhammering was a real nuisance.
