I loved the free s'mores; it’s a wonderful place to enjoy the lake and a perfect spot for lake sunrises.

The location is beautiful, the place is very clean, and the coffee and tea bar is available any time with friendly, knowledgeable staff. My husband and I were looking forward to pizza and a burger Friday night at The Crossing bar, but it was closed because the staff called in that night; otherwise everything else was perfect.

The bed was comfy and the room was clean, but there was no continental breakfast; the coffee station was nice. The toilet was far too short, making it feel like we’d have to sit on the floor before reaching the seat.

The room faced Lake Superior and was very close to the water, yet the furnishings were old and the bed could use a replacement—acceptable but not ideal.
