The spot was spot on, but we missed Mt Kinabalu because of smoke haze from the fires in Kalimantan—keep that in mind if you head to Borneo in September. The owners went above and beyond, arranging local transfers and activities for us since we didn’t have a car; check with them beforehand if you need help. The facilities were simple but sufficient.

The balcony offered an amazing view, the owners were super friendly, and the swimming pool was great. Nothing else to complain about.

The cabins on the campground were nice, one had a jacuzzi and the other a private pool. The location is a bit remote, but the views are excellent and it’s ideal for nature lovers. The owner was very pleasant and the food was superb; we had both breakfast and dinner. The room matched the description and was fine, though a bit basic; the large fridge and terrace compensated for that.

The jacuzzi was perfect and gave a view of Mt Kinabalu. The room was basic, exactly as described, and everything worked. The historical vibe was lovely and the food delivered to the doorstep was good.
