The mountain area was lovely, and since it was our second visit in ten days we loved the balcony view of the peaks; the owner was very nice. The only downside was the power outage that began about 15 minutes after check‑in and didn’t return until four hours later—though it wasn’t the owner’s fault, candles or a flashlight would have helped.

The marina staff were extremely friendly, treating us like royalty, very flexible with arrival and departure times, and gave excellent recommendations. The room offered great views, was spacious, comfortable, and clean. We couldn’t get the air conditioning to work, but it wasn’t necessary.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view was beautiful and Marina was wonderful! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We would definitely recommend Hotel Marina and visiting Anogia to anyone planning a trip to Crete
