CORBU ACCOMMODATION

I was disappointed that the room description claimed a sea view, but the view was just a tiny sliver. The host encouraged us to cancel without extra cost and even danced us over to a nearby location. I found out that the free cancellation wasn’t confirmed and we can’t request a cancellation now, even at cost, so we’re stuck with the money we paid and no accommodation. I was charged an extra fee, yet as of 03 September I still haven’t received a refund from Booking.

The location is gorgeous, quiet and close to the beach, though the cleaning could use a bit more effort. On a perfect ten, the sunrise view from the cottage window is breathtaking!

The place fits the vibe of the wild beach and is good for a 1‑2 night stay if you want better conditions than a tent. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The shower water is salty, probably taken straight from the sea with little filtration, so you don’t feel clean afterward and it can sting the skin. The rustic location isn’t well insulated, and at night various insects—including spiders—fly into the room, which might disturb sleep for anyone with a fear of bugs. Aside from those two issues, the location is fine.

“Locatie recomandata! Liniste si spatiu, relaxare...”

The spot is great, with sea visible from everywhere and from the room itself. Every room has a sea view. The hosts are worldly, funny, and kind. They love animals and let us bring two cats with us. We enjoyed an excellent week of peace. The sea and beach are a 10‑15 minute walk down the path. The hosts provided all the kitchen and covered terrace amenities. Thanks a lot for everything. The only downside was that it rained on the last day.
