“Really lovely stay at the Corner House”
Iconic spaces, very comfortable, warm hospitality, and the continental breakfast was delicious. The only downside was the stairs to the room.
“Goed en schoon verblijf dicht bij centrum Canterbury.”
The room was spacious with a large bathroom and fully equipped; the stay was very clean. The location sits on the edge of Canterbury, within walking distance to the centre, and a separate parking space is available nearby. Breakfast was good but only continental, not an English Breakfast, and the property is on a very busy road, so traffic noise was a problem.
“Il soggiorno purtroppo è stato breve, solo una notte. La camera con bagno era veramente bella, ampia e luminosa. L’host”
The historic building is meticulously maintained in every detail. The room is very large, tastefully furnished, and equipped with all comforts, and the bathroom is spacious and clean. Breakfast is abundant and varied; the night before, the fridge bar already had a bottle of milk, a bottle of orange juice, and a bottle of water. There is a private parking lot available for the car. There was nothing to complain about—everything was perfect.
The room was lovely, and because I was checking out early the next morning they prepared breakfast for me the night before and filled my fridge with goodies—handy after a night out with friends at the restaurant, which was also really nice. Parking required a short walk and there was no overnight staff, so after the restaurant closed I felt a bit isolated, but there were no other issues.
“le bon emplacement pour visiter Canterbury”
Breakfast was continental and the room was very well positioned right next to the historic centre and the cathedral. The room felt a bit cramped because the windows couldn’t really be opened and there was no view; the industrial kitchen hood was noisy, although fortunately it shuts off between 22:30 and 7:00.
