Clean and comfortable place to stay. Also friendly and helpful family

“Ein schöner kurzer Aufenthalt”

I only stayed one night at House 73 and would have liked to extend my visit. The rooms are newly renovated, equipped with a solid air conditioner, a fan, and a mosquito net. My room was very spacious, the bed was enormous, and I slept better here than anywhere else on my trip. The owner is incredibly kind and prepares fresh, tasty breakfast every morning. I enjoyed chatting with her—it felt like talking to a friend. The Jungle Beach and restaurants are just a short walk away.

The room was clean and roomy, the AC worked well, and the owners lived downstairs, so service was good. The bed was large and comfortable. The location, however, is terrible. It sits on a hill with extremely narrow roads; barely enough space for a car, and I was lucky to avoid scratching my vehicle. On the way out, we got stuck because too many cars were on that tiny, narrow road. Bathroom water pressure was very low, and the bidet barely functioned. There was no table inside the room; the owner had to bring one from outside into ours.

The lady who hosted us was wonderful. She prepared an amazing breakfast, was very friendly, and took excellent care of me.

The host was very friendly and served us a delicious traditional breakfast. The bed was super comfortable. The water pressure was very weak, just like the rest of Sri Lanka.
