The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and it’s close to the subway. We booked a room with breakfast through Booking, but upon arrival we were told there’s an extra $10 fee per person per day for the full American breakfast.

The hotel was relatively close to the metro and had good facilities, although the carpet in the corridors and rooms was outdated and the room itself was very spacious. The staff could use better training; the bartender was clearly in the wrong line of work—rude, unfriendly, tossing things around in the bar, and gave us a terrible service that deserved reprimand.

The place was very close to Harvard and MIT, and the neighborhood was generally decent; they even offered us a discount because of the inconvenience. When we went out it was pouring rain, and in one room the floor was wet for no obvious reason, while in the second room there was water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom.

The spot was easy to reach, but the room felt filthy and old‑fashioned, and the walls were so thin that you could hear neighbors on either side.
