The location is great, the free lift makes the train station easy to reach, check‑in was quick, the room was comfortable with decent bathroom facilities, and I’d stay again if I visited Saint‑Gervais. I just don’t like square pillows; I prefer the standard shape.

The cottage was pleasant and comfortable, the kitchen and dining area were fresh and had plenty of fridges and utensils, my son loved it and could watch TV quietly after walks, and the bedding was good. The small garden was nice, but because we didn’t have much info on access we didn’t go there the first two evenings (there were groups celebrating an anniversary who “occupied” the space a bit, which is understandable). There was another adjacent garden, but we didn’t know if it was private.

The location was quiet and convenient, the bedding was good, the kitchen was well equipped, the owner was friendly, the price was very reasonable, and everything was very clean. The only downside was that the toilets were outside the room.

“Très court mais c’était prévu.”

The spot was close to the city centre, but the place was a cellar with shared toilet and shower on the landing, the shower head detached, and otherwise it had everything needed. It was really expensive for what it was.
