The location was great and the bed was comfortable. There were some food and drink supplies—pasta, oil, salt, coffee, etc.—which were fine. The contact person we communicated with was also very friendly. We could have used more kitchen equipment, like larger mugs for those of us who drink coffee and tea from big cups. The worst part was the air conditioner: it was on but didn’t work, so the apartment stayed warmer than the street. Overall, we were happy with Mari Home, and if the air conditioner gets fixed we’ll definitely return.

“Far from a great stay”
The only positives were the smart TV and the toiletries. We had arranged a check‑in time with the owner, but when we arrived the apartment hadn’t been cleaned at all. Cleaners came an hour and a half later but didn’t have the keys, so we had to go back and give them the keys. Because of this we spent an extra three hours outside in the intense heat. We expected a clean apartment after cleaning, yet it smelled musty, had mold in the bathroom, dirt in the wardrobe, and the toilet was in poor condition. The cleaning seemed careless. That night was unpleasant too—the air conditioning was almost useless because the exhaust hose opening had been cut into the shutters so the hose didn’t fit, causing warm air to circulate between the shutters and the door. The AC read 31° all night. Mistakes happen, but after spending three unplanned hours outside we expected some compensation, which didn’t happen. We definitely do not recommend this place.
