We loved everything—the location, the property, just everything—so much that we didn’t want to leave. We even got to see a stag and doe walk past the house in the evening 😍. The only downside was the departure process.

My dad and stepmom spent a couple of nights here and found the cottage warm and welcoming. I booked it, and the hosts were incredibly helpful. It’s a real gem! The only small suggestion would be a folding dining table and chairs, but that’s a very minor point.

We’re repeat visitors and it’s great for us—peace and quiet, a great stay. We’ve already booked for next year 😎.

A lovely cottage tucked away apparently miles from anywhere. Excellent facilities including WiFi fast enough for much more needy people than us. LED lights are a bit powerful for the size and age of the property. Could do with a couple of floor or table lamps to offer a calmer option for those not wishing to shoot a film or perform neurosurgery.

I loved the location—beautiful, homely, cosy with stunning views, and the garden was gorgeous. The DVD collection was well stocked, but the player didn’t work during our stay. A bigger TV and a functioning DVD player would improve things. The staircase is steep, making it a bit tough to go up and down, and we couldn’t get an extra hour for late checkout.
