Le Catalan hotel is situated in Banyuls-sur-Mer, 500 meters from the marina, a 10-minute walk from the village center, and 5 minutes from a seaside creek. The hotel features 2 outdoor pools and a swim jacuzzi with stunning sea views, along with private balconies in every room. Amenities include air conditioning, minibar, safe, and satellite TV, as well as a fully-equipped seminar room and on-site restaurant serving French cuisine.

The welcome was very warm, the sea view, the bedding, and the breakfast were all superb – a perfect weekend for a couple, highly recommend. The only downside was having to leave 😬.

The reception staff were friendly, the location is great, and the pools are lovely. Nothing in particular to note.

The four‑course dinner was superb, and almost every room offers a fantastic view of the bay, village, and sea. The terrace is huge, but the farthest part from the hotel could use a makeover.

The location is exceptional. The staff are attentive (the chef didn’t hesitate to skillfully adapt his recipes to my lactose intolerance). The room is very well equipped and features the rare independent toilet separate from the bathroom. The fully glazed indoor pool offers a beautiful view and a high‑quality jacuzzi. This is our third stay and we definitely plan to return.
