The accommodation is very pleasant, very well located and run by a very kind and helpful couple. The room is spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and they provide coffee and teas. The bathroom is large and has a bit of everything. The only thing that could be improved is the shower pressure.

The place was super clean and positioned very conveniently next to the city center.

Chez Clochette is a hidden treasure just a 15‑minute stroll from Bruges’ heart; our room sat at the back of the building and was remarkably quiet. It was spacious, featured a huge double bed and ample storage, and came with a coffee pod machine and a kettle. The bathroom isn’t ensuite but sits right beside the bedroom. We understood that owner Christian only lets out the other bedroom together with ours, so we essentially had the entire first floor to ourselves; the extra room even had a small fridge that we could use. Christian was incredibly friendly and helpful, and he offers a parking spot in a nearby underground lot at no extra cost if you mention it when booking. Breakfast isn’t served at the hotel, but the nearby brasserie Smeepoorte provides a tasty, satisfying continental breakfast at a fair price. Christian also pointed us toward affordable petrol stations and a florist. The only minor gripe was the lack of decaf coffee pods, but that’s a very picky detail.

The spot is spot‑on – right where you want to be. The place itself turned out nicer than the pictures suggested, and everything was sparkling clean. The host was friendly and went out of their way to help.

We liked the place a lot; it had everything we needed and was just a short walk from the city centre. The hosts were pleasant and quick to assist. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
