The price was good, but the bedding had a bad smell.

Everything was impeccable—would definitely return! The three‑person bunk beds are very uncomfortable to climb up and down, but everything else was flawless.

The hostel is well situated, about a 17‑minute walk to the pier where tours depart and the same time to the other side where Praia Grande is; I felt safe and was warmly welcomed by the team. Breakfast matched the concept and was served on time. The room was clean, including the bathroom floor, toilet, and linens, and it wasn’t very noisy. However, I’m highly allergic and there was mold on the room wall and the bathroom door, which should be fixed. Because of the city’s humidity, it would be good to check if window screens could be installed so the windows can stay open for ventilation. The mattress needs replacement; it’s uneven and hurts my back. The TV isn’t smart and has almost no channels, so we couldn’t use it.

The staff service was terrible, especially the receptionist Candela; if you’re Brazilian, expect to be treated poorly. I don’t recommend it at all, zero rating.
