The location was great, and the night reception staff were helpful when we arrived. The lodge looked nice, had Wi‑fi, breakfast, animals on the property, and parking. The sauna was available but didn’t work, and a few other items needed maintenance.

The venue is very good, close to Macuco’s centre, easy to reach, with parking for cars and motorbikes, pet‑friendly, a kids’ area and a pool for cooling off, making it a family‑oriented and peaceful spot, but being tall (1.93 m) I struggled to find a bed that could comfortably support my size, even though everything else was quite satisfactory.

The facilities were great, but there was no breakfast and the buffet could have offered a wider spread of foods.

The location, hospitality, and friendliness were solid, and the owner is extremely polite and helpful, but anyone with light sleep will get stressed by a rooster that starts crowing at 3:30 am.

I liked the owner, the parrot Chicao, and the room was a good size in a pretty lodge, so I would have given 5 or 6, but I’m rating 4 to signal that my experience as a tourist was below expectations; I recommend separating tourists from business travelers. The breakfast was lacking, and we stayed in a room next to one where the occupants smoked, played loud bad music, and talked loudly.
