It was a great value for money stay; the room and bathroom were squeaky clean, the sheets were fresh, and the beach was very close and not crowded. Host Denis was excellent and went out of his way to make us comfortable, offering soft beds for those who prefer them. The bed itself was firm. Overall, a fantastic stay.

The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, taking care of everything. The location is very quiet and close to the beach. The room was lovely with a veranda and great TV programming (free‑access YouTube and more). 🤷♂️

We chose the accommodation based on excellent reviews from guests and I completely agree with everything. Owner Denis is very friendly and tidy; everything was perfect and his approach to all guests who stayed during our two‑week stay was very generous and willing. He met all expectations and is a smart, sharp person who fulfills your request before you even say it. No need to speak English; we’re from the Czech Republic and our English isn’t great. Denis manages and communicates with every guest. When we left for our next destination, he arranged a taxi at a very friendly price. During our travels across India we had many different accommodations, but at Denis’s Hillary Guest House we felt at home and it was our most beautiful place to rest, thanks to host Denis. The air conditioning is very high quality with a quiet night mode and is placed outside the bed so it doesn’t disturb lying guests. Very smart. The ceiling fan has a quiet operation. Hot water is available in the bathroom. The room is perfectly clean, no insects. The fridge is available outside the room, but that’s fine; you can store your food there. Denis gives a new bottle of drinking water to guests in the room every morning. The navigation to arrival will guide you to the end of the street where the sign points to his accommodation, and a personal taxi can take you to the courtyard behind the gate, with luggage then only a few meters to the room. Very simple. The back gate beach via a little path is a short walk, or by road it’s a bit farther, but a comfortable walk. Vehicles or scooters park on the property behind a locked gate, so they’re safe. There is enough space for everyone; 4 rooms are available for guests. Beautiful morning views from the ground floor terrace over the maintained and clean garden. Everything was perfect! A rating of 10 is justified; I recommend trying it, suitable even for a longer stay. We were here for two weeks and were maximally satisfied.

The room was very clean and well equipped, quiet in nature, the AC works very well and isn’t noisy, Wi‑Fi is fast, the guest house is close to the beach and restaurants, Denis is a super host, very kind and super helpful; if you want to eat at the guest house just tell Denis and he’ll take care of ordering for you. Thank you for the welcome and kindness; we recommend this house.
