Perfect spot for an early Heathrow flight - you can't get much closer than this.

The breakfast and the food at the attached restaurant are excellent, the ambience is very nice, a perfect mix of elegant and cozy, the staff are fantastic, especially the man who runs the breakfast.

The room was huge, with a big bed and a pleasant mattress, and the bathroom featured a great bathtub and shower; everything was spotless. The à la carte breakfast was good, and the hotel is close to the train station and several shops, about 20 minutes by train to London and 30 minutes by car to Watford. There was no proper reception, the corridors were tight and unventilated for fire‑safety reasons, no cocoa for breakfast (for kids), and no fridge in the room.
