“Für uns eine praktische Unterkunft, wir wollten eine Wanderung mit dem Dorf als Endziel durchführen. Taxi für die Anfahr”
The cottage is right in the middle of a pretty village; the host welcomed us warmly, and it was good that we could communicate in Greek. On the very cool days she heated the place twice in the afternoon. The décor is debatable; we’d have liked less kitsch. Breakfast is basically a fridge of ingredients you can grab; if you’re into healthier options, bring your own, like whole‑grain toast instead of the bland one. In late September there’s no open tavern in the village, so you have to drive or cook at night.
“Highly recommended! A comfortable stay close to nature.”
I stayed in a spacious, traditionally decorated house that offered all the comforts I could ask for. The view of the mountain and forest was fantastic, and the village vibe was very relaxing and quiet. There aren’t many facilities nearby – the village has just one restaurant and another one is a 7‑minute drive away – but that’s fine because the house has everything needed to cook and enjoy dinner by the fireplace. Giorgos and Aggeliki were incredibly friendly, kind, generous, and easy to talk to. I’d definitely return.
“Erholung in den Bergen”
I had a whole house to myself in a small mountain village that’s very quiet. On nice days you can use a large terrace and a balcony, but inside there’s plenty of space and a big dining table. The host doesn’t speak English, but the communication was smooth over the phone with her son. Breakfast is self‑prepared, but all the necessary equipment is provided. The only downside was that the double bed’s mattress could have been more comfortable.
The village in the Peloponnesian mountains is lovely, and this apartment enchanted us with the tranquility and mountain climate we needed after a busy, hot holiday. The apartment is charming, spacious, and well equipped, and parking is easily available nearby. A few more kitchen gadgets (pans, cutlery) would be useful.
“Gite et hôtes charmants”
Warm welcome, charming cottage, and very well‑located in Arcadie – we highly recommend it!
