The Vineyard Hotel combines heritage charm with modern amenities in a peaceful yet accessible location at the foot of Table Mountain's eastern slopes in Newlands. Elegant rooms offer garden or mountain views, and guests enjoy indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, and landscaped grounds. The hotel is 500m from Cavendish Square, 2.6km from Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, and 8.7km from the V&A Waterfront.

What a nice hotel, very good, but the price is steep.

The place feels old but well kept, giving a timeless elegance vibe, and strolling through the manicured gardens is lovely; the atmosphere is relaxing, and the spa treatment was well worth it, though it’s not as modern as newer hotels, which might be part of its charm; there was a little confusion between the two restaurants, but that was cleared up quickly.

We always stay at this hotel in Cape Town and love everything about it: the views are amazing, the breakfasts are insane, the staff is wonderful, the facilities—including a pool and gym—are world class, and the overall ambiance is wonderful. Nothing at all.

The room’s size and view were great, and the shower was good, but the air conditioner couldn’t be turned to cold and kept failing.

Very friendly and helpful staff, our room was excellent with wonderful views out into the garden and table mountain. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choice. We ate dinner in both restaurants and enjoyed great service and food in both. Nothing
