From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming, and the waitress at the restaurant was very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, authentic Indian cuisine, and it came at a very fair price. I appreciated being able to park my bike right outside the room, under cover. All in all, the customer service was excellent.

“The room was comfortable and met our basic needs, though there was some room for improvement.”

The staff were friendly and the rooms were large, with bathrooms that were easy to access for the elderly—no step up into a bath. However, every room should have extra blankets and pillows, and the remote control needs to be checked. In Room 34 the hot water was not working. Cleanliness also fell short: glassware was broken, and the plates under the sink were not clean.

I booked seven nights for 1400 for a room with a spa bath, but they denied us because my ID was out of date, even though the booking was under my partner’s name and his ID was fine. They also claimed they were very strict about no visitors, which we apparently violated when my mum came to pick us up and take us to the shop. Everything was disappointing: the room wasn’t even set up, hadn’t been cleaned by the previous guest, the bedding hadn’t been changed and was left in a disordered state, and we had to put a blanket over the bed just to sleep.

The room was comfortable, but the house keepers were not well trained; my room was vacuumed only once in the 7 days I stayed, and the bath mat wasn’t always changed.
