The hotel is stunning and its location is superb, with an exceptional vibe inside. The only downside is that the pool feels too small for such a beautiful property.

The resort’s location is fantastic—beach front and shops are just a step away, all within walking distance. We stayed in the Historic Ocean King Guest room, which was beautiful, and then received an upgrade to the Historic suite with a roomy ocean view and magnificent views. The staff embodied the Aloha spirit. Unfortunately, renovations in the tower were noisy and unpleasant; a disclosure about ongoing work should have been provided when booking. Additionally, we expected beach chairs and umbrellas to be included in our resort fees, especially given the resort’s higher price.
