This 19th-century hotel offers town-view bedrooms, just minutes from Bettys Tea Rooms and 650 metres from Harrogate Convention Centre. Amenities include a bar, restaurant, free WiFi, and room service. The Pickled Sprout serves contemporary British cuisine, while the bar offers ales, spirits, and wine. Local attractions are within a 5-minute walk.

The room was spacious and the bed incredibly comfortable. Being right in the town centre made moving around a breeze. Breakfast at the Sky Bar offered a stunning view of the area, a solid selection of foods, and a very relaxed vibe. We didn’t try the hotel’s restaurant, but it was full on a Tuesday and the food looked appealing. The only downside was a large gap under the room door, letting us hear hallway chatter, and being opposite the lift made it hard to ignore the noise from people coming and going.

Breakfast was excellent in a lovely setting. The location couldn’t have been better—central and ideal for shops.

The location was perfect, the room excellent and very comfortable, and the views over Harrogate at breakfast rounded off the trip nicely.
