The hotel’s location, cleanliness and the comfort of the bed in the room were positives. One elevator serves eight floors while the other is constantly broken. Parking access is very, very difficult with a large car.

HF Fénix Garden, located on Marquês de Pombal Square, blends contemporary style with historic charm. Its airy rooms feature wooden floors, air‑conditioning, free WiFi, a work desk, cable TV, and private bathrooms. Guests enjoy a café with fresh breakfast and coffee. The hotel sits steps from Eduardo VII Park, Avenida da Liberdade boutiques, and the metro, offering easy access to Rossio, cultural sites, and Lisbon Airport.

The spot was great, but the bed was too hard and I couldn't sleep well on any of the four nights.

The location was good, but the other facilities such as laundry and gym were lacking.

The hotel was very nice, clean, with large rooms and huge beds; even though my room faced a noisy street, the interior was quiet, so I highly recommend it. It’s only a 2‑minute walk to the metro and plenty of restaurants, and a 25‑minute walk to Plaça de Comercia. The property surpassed what I’d expect from a 3‑star hotel.

The hotel was spacious and comfortable, and Sergio at breakfast was a delight; the breakfast itself was great with a lovely selection, worth 15 euros. Reception was very helpful. The pool and rooftop bar were fantastic, right next to the Fenix Music Hotel for drinks after a long day. The metro is just around the corner, a bus is over the road, and the hotel sits right in the middle of all amenities; you can walk to the Rossio area just down the street. Trams are great for getting around. I recommend the Sintra and Cascais tour: we took the train to Sintra in 45 minutes, then a surprise load of tour vans and buses—tut‑tuts galore—to choose from, much cheaper than booking online. We chose a van for us nine girls, the driver guided us around Sintra for a couple of hours, let us explore at our own pace, said no rush, gave us his number to call if we needed him back, then we headed to Cascais, which didn’t take long; we had a wonderful few hours there too, with plenty of places to explore and lovely restaurants everywhere, very quaint. I highly recommend doing both trips; it can be done in a day at your own pace, no need to book online.
