Serenity Sigiri Resort

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Serenity Sigiriya Resort. The room was lovely, spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making it a great spot to relax and for my partner to work. Sana and his brother were incredibly helpful throughout, going above and beyond to arrange safaris, tours, transport to Lion’s Rock, and always being available. The whole family was friendly and welcoming, giving the stay a personal feel. We appreciated the free bikes, which made exploring easy, and they kindly took us to and from Sigiriya’s main area when needed. Breakfast was great each morning, and they cooked a delicious meal for us on the last night—a nice touch. Overall, a brilliant stay with genuinely warm hospitality; highly recommended. The only downside was that the resort is about 10 minutes from Sigiriya’s center, but Sana’s lifts made it very easy to get around.

“Exceptional”

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this family‑run hotel. The owner was incredibly kind and offered great travel advice. He went above and beyond—taking me by bike to Pidurangala rock, helping me reach the nearest bus station, and even giving me a free bicycle to enjoy a beautiful morning ride and watch the sunrise at the rock. The room was spacious, beautifully designed with high ceilings, and the price was very reasonable. Everything was kind, warm, and perfect—there’s truly nothing better!

This was one of the best accommodations I’ve stayed at. The owners were incredibly helpful, sincere, and warm‑hearted. I arrived with a few problems, and they were all resolved in just a few minutes 😀 I also admired the beautiful natural scenery from the balcony.

“A wonderful place with a super friendly host and a delicious breakfast”

This place exceeded our expectations in every way. The location was perfect, the room was spotless and spacious, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful. He even drove us to the bus stop when we were leaving, which was a huge relief. The breakfast was also the best we had in Sri Lanka - we were sad to leave!

We were really impressed with this place - the rooms were clean and the owners were super helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, which was a nice touch. The whole experience was really nice and we would definitely recommend it.
