“We saw this on 4 in bed and loved the look but very disappointed I definitely wouldn't go again and”

The views from this place were stunning, but that's about where the positives end. The place feels really outdated and it shows - the sofa was broken with sharp metal bits sticking out, which was a nightmare with our 2-year-old. There were also issues with the electrics, like a plug socket hanging off the wall and half the plugs not working. The room upstairs was freezing, with the door open when we arrived, and it wasn't cleaned properly at all.

The location is great, but it's pretty loud, especially at night. Staff were really helpful when I checked in late. Room was small but clean and comfy. Overall, it's decent value for the price.

“Fantastic stay”

The cottage itself was great - plenty of room, really clean, and the WiFi was fantastic. We loved using the hot tub and sauna. However, there were a few small issues - the outside light for the hot tub wasn't working and when we opened the velux windows, loads of flies fell into the bedrooms and bathroom. The oven display knob was also worn off, which was a bit annoying. These weren't major concerns, but I thought it was worth mentioning for future stays. Overall, our stay was fantastic.

“Great property and views but not great support”

This place had amazing views and was set up really well, perfect for a peaceful getaway. However, we had some issues - the TV in the bedroom didn't work and despite contacting the owner twice, we didn't get any help. The bed was also pretty uncomfortable, but that might just be us. The kitchen had some dodgy non-stick pans that I didn't want to use, and there were a lot of flies around, which meant I had to get some fly spray.

“With a few upgrades and a bit of TLC this place could offer so much more”

This property was in a lovely quiet spot, perfect for a family and dog to run around. It would be great for a group of families, with three houses nearby. However, the hot tubs could do with an update - they looked a bit shabby. It was also a bit inconvenient that there weren't any simple utensils like scissors and a spatula, and we only had three mugs for six people.
