“rustgevend omringt door groen en prachtige uitzichten”
The location was fantastic, especially the garden, which was truly spectacular. The rooms were simple yet atmospheric, and each had a covered porch with wooden benches and cushions overlooking the garden where you could relax. In the evenings you could sit by a fire in the garden. There was a view of the sea from a hammock. The breakfast was varied, healthy, and delicious. We’ll come back.

The building has a calm, historic feel. The sound of running water and footsteps in the hallway at midnight made it hard to sleep, and the room had an unpleasant odor. The restaurant that claims to use pesticide‑free ingredients was closed and unavailable. Breakfast was a simple continental‑style buffet that was underwhelming. The plants along the corridor were neglected with spider webs, which was off‑putting. The yoga class was held at 18:00, so it couldn’t be joined after dinner, and the in‑house restaurant was also closed.
“Stayed there for birthday retreat and it matched my expectations”
A perfect spot for a retreat. The kitchen isn’t open for dinner every day.

You’ll find lush grounds, a historic building turned into accommodations, and a large lanai with seating outside your room to lounge and enjoy the scenery. Visit Lumeria if you want to truly disconnect. The grounds could use some trimming and weeding, but overall it’s magical.

Check‑in and check‑out were smooth. The room was comfortable. The outdoor hammocks felt great, and the wind and the land created a unique atmosphere. Breakfast could use some improvement.
