Relais Dante e Beatrice

The relais sits on an ideal axis for exploring Florence, always straight ahead. It’s within walking distance of the train station and the market stalls. The room was spacious and very clean. We liked the mugs, kettle, and tea available in the room. We were on the courtyard side, so it was very quiet. The hostess was extra helpful, offering advice on tours and itineraries. The breakfast was truly hearty and varied. The air‑conditioning was a bit temperamental to turn on or keep running.

The reception, information provided, and helpfulness were great. The modern bathroom had everything needed and was cleaned exceptionally well every day. A few more sockets would have made it easier. There were a few hidden heavy desks behind the TV, only two bedside lamps, so you had to choose between a night lamp or a phone charger, hearing aid, tablet, etc. In the bathroom there was just one. It’s doable, just a bit cumbersome.

A beautiful and comfortable property just a quarter of an hour’s walk from the Duomo, well connected to the station via the tram line. The added value definitely comes from the owner, a kind and super welcoming person who fulfilled every request. The breakfast at the venue was also excellent. Nothing to complain about.

“Cómodo y práctico para visitar la ciudad!”

The beds are very comfortable, the room is well‑climatized and the breakfast is very good. The staff were very pleasant. The hotel has antique furnishings and décor, giving it charm. The shower is very small, the bathroom pipes smelled awful. The fridge was off when we arrived. The building’s elevator is very old and a bit scary to ride.

A very well‑located B&B in a nice, tidy setting on the second floor of a historic house with a small, extremely slow elevator. The room was very small, but everything was clean and good, the bathroom was nice and had been recently renovated. The host was very friendly, and the breakfast was good. The room was very small and a bit Spartan, but sufficient for 1–2 nights (there are larger rooms available, you might have to ask).
