The place was new, clean and comfortable, but the staff seemed to have a knack for inventing excuses whenever something went wrong, as if they had special training for that. Our room sat above the entrance, facing the road and a construction site, so it was pretty noisy, though the balcony doors did a good job of blocking the sound. We booked a King guestroom with a double bed, yet we received two single beds; the staff suggested putting them together. Tea and coffee were never refilled in the room. Breakfast offered a wide range of options but was dull and typical hotel fare; I’d have had a better breakfast at a hostel.

“Indigne d un 5 étoiles”

The rooftop pool was nice, the restaurant was okay but the air‑conditioning was icy cold. The staff were incompetent and unfriendly. We had booked a King‑size room but were given a 140 cm bed, with the excuse that it was a booking error (even though it was clearly noted in the reservation). The issue was fixed from the second night onward. The hair straightener disappeared; we reported it but received no response. Dust was abundant on the lower side of the nightstand. We were given two small water bottles on the first day and none thereafter. Five stars or three? One can doubt it given the disastrous level of service.

We were celebrating our honeymoon, and the hotel had decorated our room with balloons and towel swans, which was really sweet. The spa facilities were top‑class.

“All in all good value for money”

The room was spacious, breakfast was decent, the location was great, and the staff were friendly. However, they wouldn’t let us check in early even though our room was already ready.
