“Good value”

The front desk staff was very friendly, but the motel feels a bit old; still, it was perfectly acceptable for the price.

The location fit our needs perfectly. The place feels dated and the bed is hard and bouncy. The Sunset Inn Clarksville website still shows a basic breakfast photo and claims breakfast is included, but that’s no longer true. The entry door didn’t seal properly, letting in a couple of flies. After midnight, the smoke detector chirped every five minutes; I removed it from the wall and set it outside, but the 2004 brown and sticky model was still too loud. I handed it to the front‑desk man, who offered no apology or concern, leaving us frustrated after losing about four hours of sleep. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

The lady manager is awesome and always remembers us. The fridge actually has a working freezer, which is great for us motorcycle riders who like frozen water bottles. The restaurants are within walking distance.
