I had a terrible stay; the host was unbelievably dishonest and refused to communicate in Italian or any other language. The booking promised breakfast, yet the place only offered long‑life supermarket products like crackers and pre‑wrapped pastries that you have to prepare yourself. The host arrogantly defended this by claiming the breakfast was “mentioned on Booking” without details and that it was the “norm in Sicily,” which is clearly misleading. Worse, we found a jar of jam in the fridge that had already been opened by previous guests—an alarming hygiene issue. Daily cleaning never happened, and no towels or blankets were changed. I can’t fathom how this place gets an 8‑star rating; perhaps it’s just the location. Absolutely not recommended and unprofessional.

The location is central and the owners are very helpful, but the other guests are a problem—though that’s not the property’s fault.

A cute room in the heart of Palermo; the host is very friendly. The only drawback is that you share the apartment and only get the room.

I loved everything, the room was comfortable and had everything we needed, and we were welcomed by Claudia and the mother, two wonderful people who met every request, and we felt the warmth of the Palermo locals. Thank you for everything and we highly recommend this place :)
